Ratatat Cat is a neutered male. He was a neighborhood stray for years, and is super sweet. Currently shaved but will be fluffy when his hair grows back. What a lover!

Bashful Cats Available

Bashful cats are those who have come into our shelter as surrenders, strays or unsocialized kittens.
In need of patience and love, many will overcome their shyness with a sense of security and plenty of stinky soft food!

  • They are not feral.
  • They do well adopted in pairs, but can be adopted alone.
  • They can be shy, but are very curious about people.
  • They are litter box trained.
  • They will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
  • They aren't biters, but may scratch if picked up and are trying to get away.
  • Some have never been outside, except in our catio (screened cat patio).
  • Many love to play with toys (and the people holding those toys).
Reuben is a beautiful 1-2 year old neutered black and white tuxedo who tolerates being petted. He is shy, but curious, and seems to like being around people.
