Poet & Pinkerton are 1 year old Lynx Point Siamese mix bonded brothers. They love to cuddle and need to be adopted together. Need to be the only animals in the home.

Scaredy Cats Available

Scaredy cats are those who have come into our shelter as surrenders, strays or unsocialized kittens.
In need of patience and love, many will overcome their shyness with a sense of security and plenty of stinky soft food!

  • They are not feral.
  • They do well adopted in pairs, but can be adopted alone.
  • They can be shy, but are very curious about people.
  • They are litter box trained.
  • They will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
  • They aren't biters, but may scratch if picked up and are trying to get away.
  • Some have never been outside, except in our catio (screened cat patio).
  • Many love to play with toys (and the people holding those toys).
Cali is an 11 month old female, shy and skittish. She will be spayed in April.
Caliente is an 8 month old female, very sweet and will purr when around people. She will be spayed in April.
Gretchen is a 1.5 year old female, interested in people. She will be altered in April.
Autumn is 1 year old female, sweet but shy. She will be spayed in April.
Wally is a 1-2 year old unaltered male who is shy and will need lots of patience and quiet time.
Jonesy is a 1 year old neutered male. He is a beautiful Bengal mix and would do well in a quiet home.
Smitty is a 1-2 year old unaltered male who is shy but curious. He is quiet and will need time to adjust to his new home.
Reuben is a beautiful 1-2 year old unaltered black and white tuxedo who tolerates being petted. He is shy, but curious, and seems to like being around people.
Firefly is an unaltered 1-2 year old male who likes to watch people and loves other animals, when he feels safe.
Curly is Moe's brother, and is a 1.5 year old neutered male who would love a quiet home. He is very attached to his brother, and wants to be friendly with people. He just needs some time and space.
Moe is Curly's brother and is a 1.5 year old neutered male. He loves his brother and would do best being adopted with him. He would also be fine as a solo adoption.

We are pleased to offer a low-cost spay/neuter program for cats.

Cost: Female $60, Male $45

Trips typically occur once per month on a Thursday, specific date to be determined. You MUST provide your own small animal carrier. Email BMHA@bmhumane.org to have your name placed on the list for our next trip.

Included in the cost is spay/neuter, round trip transportation to and from Idaho, monitoring during transportation home, and same-day return.
