The shelter is hosting a variety of events in the month of October and we need volunteers to help with set-up, selling cotton candy & caramel apples and much more.

How to Volunteer at the Animal Shelter
Our volunteer program is changing! We want you to be able to start volunteering sooner. Instead of waiting for a monthly orientation, then waiting for a training session, now you can sign-up for one of our weekly training sessions! As soon as you complete the class, you can begin volunteering.
Whether you chose to walk a dog, socialize a cat, or foster, you make a significant difference in each animals’ life. We appreciate every moment you volunteer and we are excited you have chosen to spend time with us!

We have a library of training materials that are available to any volunteer. We will also have face-to-face trainings every quarter. Announcements for these trainings will be posted in the volunteer room at the Animal Shelter.
